Neo-Renaissance town hall was erected in years 1869-1870. Currently it houses the town council. A former town hall was situated in the middle of a market square and burnt with all city records in 1834.
In that place there was erected a new brick town hall which, in 1867 threatened to collapse. Present town hall was built by Karol Kubik in the place of former single-storied house from the 18th century.
